Sheriff Helps Clean Up County

The inmate workers along with several  detention officers of the Dade County Sheriff’s Office spent the day cleaning tires, sofas, tv’s and various other garbage off the road side on Newsome Gap Rd.  Approximately 2,500 lbs. of debris was collected before 2:00 p.m. today and the crews are still working.   The Dade County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to trace these items back to the people who littered our beautiful county.  When they are found, they will be prosecuted.
