Terroristic Threats by a Juvenile Investigated

This morning around 1:45 a.m. officers were notified that a Davis Elementary student had made terroristic threats on Facebook. He had threatened to bring a gun to school.

School resource officers were notified and responded to the child’s residence.  The child and his parents were brought to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office for questioning about the incident.

Juvenile authorities and Davis Elementary School principal, James Fahrney were notified.

The youth was charged with making terroristic threats.  No weapons were found.  The parents stated they did not own a gun.

The case was turned over to the juvenile authorities.
